Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals of Poughkeepsie is seeking a hands-on and dependable Maintenance Technician to join a high-tech manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong mechanical skills who take pride in solving problems and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot industrial equipment including pressure washers, air scrubbers, and B blaster machines. Inspect and repair leaks, perform diagnostics on mechanical failures, and ensure proper fluid levels and system operations. Support upkeep of specialized cleaning and texturing machines used in production. Assist with general facility maintenance and equipment reliability. Collaborate with team members and report any persistent mechanical issues.
Preferred Experience:
Prior maintenance experience in a semiconductor, high-tech, or manufacturing environment. Former maintenance or porter roles in apartment complexes or commercial buildings with exposure to mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a strong plus. Familiarity with dispatch ovens is a bonus, but not required.
