Maintenance Technician Position Available In Dutchess, New York

Our client, a leader in the electronic industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the technical support team ensuring the smooth operation of mainframe systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

• Shift:

• Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
• What’s the Job?
• + Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on mainframe hardware and software to minimize downtime and system failures.

+ Troubleshoot and repair issues with mainframe systems, including hardware malfunctions and software errors. + Monitor mainframe performance, identify potential issues, and take corrective actions to prevent disruptions. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations. + Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure the integrity of mainframe systems and data.

• What’s Needed?
• + 5+ years of experience in maintenance, particularly in the electronic industry. + Strong technical background in equipment assembly and repair. + Ability to perform heavy lifting, tool operation, and ladder work. + Experience with troubleshooting and repairing mainframe systems. + Excellent documentation skills for maintaining maintenance records.
