Responsibilities:
Machine repair and preventative maintenance; must be able to perform this independently in many cases. Emergency repairs, must be able to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment problems Installation assistance on capital projects Assist with modification, installation of equipment or process improvements Assist with installation and startup of minor equipment purchases Facilities maintenance, e.g., painting, building modifications, grounds maintenance Ability to trouble shoot and repair mechanical and electrical/electronic issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED or higher required. Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting required. Knowledge of flexographic printing, and lamination and slitting processes desired Hands on experience working with, and knowledge of electrical 3-phase wiring, installation, and repair of machinery up to at least 480 volts and electronic repair Experience in electronic troubleshooting and repair of industrial and or manufacturing machinery Knowledge and experience troubleshooting and evaluating PLC’s and drives is highly desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Office package software is essential. Able to earn and maintain forklift operation certification and operate various tow motors (sit down, high-reach, etc.) Basic reading & math skills and ability to read ruler, tape measure Usage of common tools (hammer, screwdriver, sharp tools etc.) REM3
