This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on various machinery and facilities.

Essential Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Diagnose and repair issues with equipment or infrastructure (e.g., lighting, HVAC, doors, windows) Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of breakdowns Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities Ensure compliance with safety and building codes Respond to emergency maintenance requests Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the property, amenities and Piaule as a brand Be accommodating of a schedule that may consist of morning, afternoon, evening, weekend and/or holiday shifts Perform any and all duties as required as Piaule develops and changes over time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year experience as a Housekeeper, boutique property desired. Strong verbal and written English skills Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Manual dexterity and physical stamina High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in HVAC, electrical, or building maintenance are a plus Dress in uniform and maintain proper personal hygiene. Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
