The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation and repair, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. As a Garage Door Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of garage doors, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Install garage doors and related hardware according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing garage doors to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation tasks. Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation approach and identify any potential challenges. Communicate with customers regarding service options, timelines, and any necessary adjustments during the installation process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use. Adhere to safety protocols while working on job sites, including heavy lifting when necessary. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in garage door installation. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Requirements Must have at least 1 year of experience in related work. Must have own power and hand tools. Must have a valid drivers license.
