Maintenance Mechanic Trainee, Camden NY Position Available In Oneida, New York

As a Maintenance Mechanic Trainee you will perform tasks under the direction of an experienced Maintenance Mechanic. The Maintenance Mechanic Trainee performs routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment and helps perform emergency maintenance repairs on various types of machinery. Duties and Responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician Trainee include: Identifies faulty equipment through observation and testing with direction from experience Maintenance Mechanic Performs minor repairs, progressing to more complicated repairs, during time on the job Accountable for properly maintaining records and logs for items Must be capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be a team player; willing to work with and take direction from experienced Maintenance Mechanic and Supervisor Performs other duties when assigned Teamwork as a Maintenance Technician include: Daily communication with Maintenance Manager to be sure objectives are met. Support and comply with company policies and procedures as applicable. Demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude. Qualifications and Skills as Maintenance Technician Trainee include: High school diploma or equivalent education level, as a minimum Good problem-solving and communication skills Current, valid driver’s license Organized and detail-oriented Willingness to learn Works safely, obeying policies and procedures Working Conditions Standard Manufacturing Plant Working Conditions 60%-70% of time spend on the shop floor Physical Requirements The employee is regularly required to talk and hear Frequently required to stand and walk May be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds International Wire is an
