  Maintenance Technician

• Job Description
• This role involves performing various maintenance duties to ensure the smooth operation of the production floor. The Maintenance Technician will oversee equipment setup, respond to maintenance calls, perform preventive maintenance tasks, and maintain inventory systems. The technician will work closely with different departments to support workflow and production schedules.
• Responsibilities
• + Oversee the production floor and ensure operational efficiency.

+ Respond to maintenance calls, including performing preventive maintenance as required.+ Set up equipment in automatic machines, manual operations, and other areas following work instructions.+ Change punches and tooling as necessary to maintain production flow.+ Repair manufacturing equipment according to established company protocols.+ Complete preventive maintenance checklists and related tasks.+ Identify recurring problems and provide solutions to reduce or eliminate their occurrence.+ Maintain inventory quantities for items tracked in the inventory system.+ Follow safety procedures according to approved training and report any dangerous conditions immediately.+ Collaborate with Bagging, Roll Making, and Molding departments to manage workflow.+ Coordinate with the Production Supervisor and Scheduling on the status of manufacturing orders.+ Perform basic quality assessments and paperwork sign-offs.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + High school diploma or GED required+ 2+ years of experience in related fields or training+ Optic or vision inspection experience is a plus+ Familiarity with PLCs is beneficial

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rensselaer, New York.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $20.

00 – $26.00/hr.
