Floor Care Technician Strike Force Maintenance Corp. Saint James, NY 11780 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Care Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cleaning and floor care, ensuring that all surfaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This role is crucial in providing a clean and welcoming environment for our clients and their guests. Responsibilities Perform routine floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing various types of flooring. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to maintain appearance and hygiene. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas by following established protocols for environmental services. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Collaborate with custodial staff to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties. Experience Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and carpet cleaning, is highly desirable. Knowledge of environmental services practices is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
