King Kullen Grocery Co., Inc. operates stores in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, qualified applicants must be willing to travel to various locations utilizing the company van. The position is a great starting position for anyone wishing to learn and grown within the department. • Working knowledge in related trades to building maintenance and repairs, general building and store maintenance, but not limited to painting, masonry, carpentry, lock repair, floor tiles, ceramic tile, ceiling work, light plumbing and light electrical. Case cleaning Assist with repairs General building/store maintenance Assist with moving equipment Observe all safety practices, procedures, directives, and use proper PPE as required On occasion may check incoming shipments and arrange stock Cleaning, debris and snow removal Requirements High school diploma or GED Must hold a clean, valid “D driver’s license Ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs Must be able to work at heights and in an enclosed environment Periodic overtime may be required A valid OSHA 10 or 30 card Must have own tools
