Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician Westfair Pool and Supply Inc. 585 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills, NY 10507 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of residential and commercial pools, ensuring they are safe, clean, and functioning properly. This role requires a strong understanding of pool systems and equipment, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently. Duties Perform routine maintenance on pools, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections. Service and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks. Identify issues with pool systems and provide solutions to ensure optimal performance. Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool. Communicate with clients regarding services provided and any additional needs or recommendations for their pools. Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool systems and equipment. Proficient in pool maintenance techniques including cleaning and chemical balancing. Experience as a service technician in the pool industry is preferred. Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools for repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and accurately. Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery. Good communication skills for client interactions.
