Swimming Pool Service Technician Westfair Pool and Supply Inc. 585 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills, NY 10507 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for pool maintenance. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained for our clients. This role requires hands-on experience with pool cleaning and equipment repair, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of residential and commercial pools. Inspect pool equipment and systems for proper operation and safety. Utilize power tools and hand tools to repair or replace faulty equipment. Conduct water quality tests and adjust chemicals as necessary to maintain safe swimming conditions. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding pool maintenance. Document service visits and maintain accurate records of work performed. Stay informed about new products, techniques, and safety regulations in the pool maintenance industry. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool systems and equipment. Proven experience in pool maintenance, including cleaning techniques and chemical balancing. Ability to troubleshoot issues as a service technician effectively. Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools for equipment repair. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain service records. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
