We are seeking a skilled individual for the full-time position of Maintenance Mechanic with Electrical Experience at our Pittsburgh plant. Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment as needed Tear down equipment, rebuild, and replace defective parts and components Reassemble and make final equipment adjustments Perform preventative maintenance to avoid downtime Maintain an appropriate inventory of maintenance supplies Keep a clean and safe working area Work well with all levels of personnel, individually or in a team environment Be available for different shifts, weekends, and some holidays

Qualifications:

High school education or equivalent (required) Trade or technical school certification (preferred) with at least 5 years of job-related experience Motivated, determined, and able to make an immediate impact Knowledge in multiple areas including: Electricity Electronics (PLC Control Systems, Panel View Screens, etc.) HVAC/Refrigeration Ammonia Refrigeration Plumbing Instrumentation Pneumatics Hydraulics Steam Boilers Pumps (Centrifugal, Positive Displacement, Tight Tolerance) Motors (AC & DC, different phases) Motor Starters VFD’s Drive Units Belts, Pulleys, Bearings, etc. Experience in welding, brazing, soldering, and using torch units Strong background in general mechanics Basic skills using power/hand tools Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, kneeling during shifts, lifting up to 75 pounds Good visual accuracy and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Effective verbal communication skills Must have a driver’s license and supply own tools Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA 15227 before starting work
