The Grande Dame is now hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic. Come and join the #1 Hotel in the City of Pittsburgh and her Team! Responsibilities This person will be responsible for responding to and completing all maintance work requests and dispatches pertaining to guest rooms, function rooms, food outlets and public areas, as well as any other duties as assigned by Manager. Qualifications This person must be able to work AM’s, PM’s, overnights, weekends and holidays. Schedule will vary according to business needs.
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying and bending to inspect and repair equipment.
Must keep a safe work area at all times and report any equipment deficiencies to Supervisor.
Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC, phones, TV, cable, AC&R, kitchen equipment, and building mechanical systems.
Must be a clear communicator and have postive customer service skills when dealing with guest interaction.
