Maintenance Technician 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 339 Frederick Road, Roaring Spring, PA 16673 Renaissance Nutrition in Roaring Spring is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will be directly responsible for maintaining and servicing all plant equipment and buildings.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Report any factors that may influence the quality and safety of the finished feed and ingredients to the immediate supervisor Can install circuit breakers, starters, panels, run conduit and make hook-ups with little or no supervision Know and be able to repair all mill equipment with little or no supervision Have good welding skills and good proficiency with an oxygen acetylene torch Do both installation and repair of normal pipe runs Able to read and work with blueprints, drawings sketches and schematics Be willing to learn all mill flows, processes, and equipment, all electrical systems, all parts inventories and sources Fill on call positions as assigned, during non-regular business hours Follow all Renaissance guidelines and requirements of plant and company policies, all regulatory and certifying agencies Be physically able to perform all tasks required, but no limited to climbing, lifting and carrying weights of 55 lbs or more Must be able to work from heights Observe safe practices at all times All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements Good communication skills Understanding of feed/premix manufacturing and willingness to learn and grow Basic computer knowledge Understanding of feed mill equipment and layout Knowledge of HACCP Feed & Food Safety Plan (Preferred) Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperature Must pass pre-employment drug screen
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Competitive starting hourly rate and full benefits. Monday-Friday 7 am – 4 pm – additional/on-call hours as needed
