The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills and good troubleshooting skills. This is a field based position with each technician based out of their home – no need to report to an office to get work orders. We do a variety of light commercial facilities work including but not limited to repair, maintenance, installations, emergency response, light plumbing or electrical, cleaning, etc. If you are handy, have a “can do” attitude, pride yourself on excellent customer service and a strong work ethic, please apply with your resume and a brief introductory note. Please supply 3 references with your application. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other facility equipment. Troubleshoot and repair high voltage electrical systems using voltmeters and schematics. Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely to perform maintenance tasks at heights. Collaborate with team members to execute field service requests efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to facility-related inquiries and concerns. Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as required. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals. Familiarity with hydraulics, electrical systems, and HVAC operations is preferred. Experience operating scissor lifts and other maintenance equipment is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
