We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Service and Assembly Manager to oversee the assembly, maintenance, and service operations of vending machines. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining high-quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, leadership skills, and experience in vending machines or related electromechanical equipment. •

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly Management:

Oversee and manage the assembly, repair and maintenance of vending machines, ensuring all builds and repairs meet quality and safety standards. Coordinate with the production team to streamline the build process and reduce assembly time. Ensure accurate documentation of assembly procedures and updates to technical manuals. Manage inventory levels for parts and materials needed for assembly.

Service Operations:

Lead and schedule service technicians for repairs, maintenance, and installations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with vending machines, both remotely and on-site. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime. Ensure service documentation is accurate, complete, and logged into service management systems.

Team Leadership:

Supervise, train, and evaluate assembly and service staff. Foster a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment. Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

Customer & Vendor Interaction:

Communicate with customers to schedule service appointments and resolve complaints. Liaise with vendors and suppliers for replacement parts and technical support.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar role (vending, ATM, appliances, or electromechanical equipment preferred). Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Prior team management or supervisory experience. Proficient in reading technical diagrams and assembly schematics. Familiar with inventory and maintenance management systems. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for service calls (if required).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with refrigeration systems in vending machines. Familiarity with telemetry and payment system integrations. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and diagnostics.

Working Conditions:

Hands-on role requiring standing, lifting, and using hand tools. Occasional travel to client sites or service locations. Standard work hours with some flexibility based on service needs. Mini Melts
