Job Description
Maintenance Technician 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Prospect, PA 16052 The Service Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the site in a thorough, safe, and accurate manner by performing general maintenance tasks including service requests, turnover functions, and preventive maintenance. Your role is to assist in maintaining a high quality living environment for the residents. Required to be on the “on call” rotation and available for resident calls after-hours.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities listed below are not all-encompassing. Other related duties may be assigned. Contributes to the curb appeal on a daily basis, ensuring a pristine community presentation including models, tour path, amenities, vacant ready apartments, leasing center and offices (where applicable) Strives to meet or exceed Friedman Five Star Performance Metrics goals set on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis Works as part of a team to ensure on a weekly and monthly basis that all property vacancy and turns are being completed in accordance with company timelines and standards Works as part of a team to ensure on a weekly and monthly basis that company standards are being met regarding the property’s open service orders Responsible to adhere to all safety policies and operate machinery and tools as required Completes general maintenance repairs as assigned Performs assigned in-house make-ready work Responsible for 24-hour response to service requests and after-hours emergency maintenance Performs and records preventative maintenance Responsible for maintaining curb appeal on a daily basis Maintains professional and timely communications with residents Attends resident functions, creating a sense of community with staff and residents to ensure customer satisfaction and resident retention Works as part of a team and assists team members as needed Follows policies relating to but not limited to Fair Housing, OSHA, and Friedman Realty Group
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent 1 years general maintenance experience HVAC Certification a plus Ability to repair plumbing systems, electronic systems and all major appliances Must be able to read and write in English at an intermediate level to read diagrams, meters, instructions, write reports, etc.
