Shift Job Summary:
The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machines, robotic systems, and associated mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. This role includes leadership responsibilities, including mentoring other technicians, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and developing preventive maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair CNC machinery, automated gauges, and robotic systems Perform complex troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Guide and support the development of other maintenance technicians Maintain vendor relationships and manage parts procurement and inventory Utilize maintenance and preventive maintenance software effectively Display working knowledge of PLC systems Support 5S and continuous improvement efforts across the plant Safely operate forklifts, lifting equipment, and follow lockout/tagout procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations, including PPE use Perform preventive maintenance tasks and additional assignments as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; technical training preferred 3-5 years of experience in maintenance of automated/CNC equipment Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Experience with CNC and PLC systems is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team Willingness to work overtime when needed #
