Role:
As our Maintenance Technician , you’ll be hands-on with day-to-day industrial maintenance tasks while guiding and coaching a team on the shop floor. Think of it as a hybrid between expert technician and on-the-ground team leader. If you’re someone who takes pride in quality work and knows how to motivate others, you’ll thrive here. This position requires prior industrial maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example on the shop floor, supervising team members and promoting best practices Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ensure productivity, safety, and quality goals are met — even in a supervisor’s absence Train and mentor new maintenance technicians Help document daily productivity, safety incidents, and other operational data Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Be open to working overtime or flexible shifts as needed Participate in off-hours leadership development training What You Bring to the
Table :
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong hands-on skills: mechanical repair, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and more Familiarity with AC frequency drives, welding, PLCs, and fabrication is a huge plus Ability to read and interpret schematics and follow preventive maintenance sheets Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills Computer literacy is a must High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training preferred Professional certifications (like CMRP or HVAC) are nice to have but not required Why Join Dayton Parts?
