Maintenance Technician Entry Level – 2nd shift 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars Ridgway, PA 15853 Allegheny Coatings is currently looking for a mainteance technician in Ridgway, PA.
Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing equipment preventative maintenance, responding to mechanical repair/troubleshooting requests, and project work as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of all equipment Assist in new equipment installation Maintain inventory and maintenance supplies Organization of all spare parts and shop supplies Assist in training of new personnel Coordinate with Safety Manager to enhance facility safety, including: Lockout/Tagout, safety modifications and repairs, and safety work orders Perform Equipment Preventive Maintenance as assigned Perform and follow Lockout/Tagout Procedures Other projects and tasks as assigned Employee must be able to work other shifts and overtime to complete work as needed Employee must be willing to be on call to support production needs
DESIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems Basic Mechanical skills, including knowledge of mechanical assembly and troubleshooting techniques Ability to operate hand tools and power tools Ability to safely operate forklifts Ability to function independently and as part of team Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment Strong communication skills Able to lift 50 lbs. and engage in other physical tasks

Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical skills (welding, torches, plasma cutter, pipe fitting, millwrighting, conduit running, wire pulling)
