HS Diploma or equivalent, technical Training, 3-5 yrs in Machine Maintenance, Injection Molding famility experience Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing injection molding machines and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and related equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly to minimize production disruptions
Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed
Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals for maintenance tasks
Implement safety procedures and emergency response protocols during maintenance activities
Document maintenance activities and maintain records of work performed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance or related field preferred
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, specifically with injection molding machines
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
Familiarity with HVAC systems and preventive maintenance practices
Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response protocols
Experience with inventory management and parts procurement
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Basic knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems is a plus
