High School diploma or equivalent 2-3 yearsprevious experience is a plus Ability to work a flexible scheduleas needed Exceptional interpersonal skills are required Computerexperience is required – strong Excel knowledge Ability towalk/climb to count inventories Ability to read and interpretdocuments Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Basicmath skills required Forklift experience and certification a plus.

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Mechanic tends to productionmachines such as filler, packaging, cappers, labeler, andpalletizers used for bottling water. This position will performtrouble shooting and repairs to equipment as needed.

Essential JobDuties:

Operates all production machinery in accordance withattached specifications Operates all blow mold machinery inaccordance with attached specifications Carries a radio at alltimes while on shift to be fully accessible to team Carries a toolbag with all required tools at all times while on shift Leads teamin changeover processes Leads team in preventative maintenanceprocess Performs basic cleaning of machinery Proficient in blowmold operations Performs all repair tasks and troubleshootingnecessary to keep bottling lines operating efficiently Ability torotate as needed Assist in training of new employees Ensuresthrough constant observation and routine inspections that highquality product is being produced Ensures that proper GMP rules andcleanliness is being administered throughout production processesReports all emergencies, injuries, and production incidentsimmediately to shift supervisor

GMP & PPE

Required:

While on theproduction floor in the plant you will be required to follow andhelp to enforce all GMP regulations in the plant. Anyone enteringthe production floor must follow the GMP rules in their employeehandbook, which includes the required hairnets, beard nets, andearplugs. It is also required that all personnel wear safetyglasses. Follows standard operating procedures including qualitychecks and procedures for all operations. Meets food safety andquality objectives and the requirements of the SQF System.

Non-Essential Job Duties Will perform any and all other relatedwork as assigned by the manager and needs of the business. In theabsence of this employee, the direct manager or appointee willcover responsibilities.
