Leadership Full Job Description Property Maintenance Technician Overview:
We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and functionality of our rental units. Summit Property Services is a sister company of The Real Estate Firm & Property Management, a leading rental management company in the Lehigh Valley.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance that is scheduled by the property management company.
- Utilize Appfolio (property management software) to track and schedule maintenance activities, as well as notify tenants of scheduled appointments & entry of units.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors for specialized repairs
- Painting, spackling, & small repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants & landlords.
- Inspections of units & reporting of condition via Appfolio (training will be provided).
- Installation of lockboxes & copying of keys for company & boxes.
- Must be reliable & on time for appointments set with city & housing inspectors.
- Assisting contractors on bigger jobs that may require ordering or running for material & other general tasks assigned by higher level staff members.
Skills:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting
- Experience in property maintenance or handyman services/construction
- Strong leadership skills for supervising maintenance activities
- Organization & data entry
