Maintenance Technician – Weekend Shift | Industrial PreventiveMaintenance & Equipment Rebuilds Are you a hands-on MaintenanceTechnician who enjoys working on large-scale equipment projects andpreventative maintenance tasks? We’re seeking a mechanicallyinclined team player to join our weekend shift maintenance crew,focused on keeping our heavy manufacturing equipment in top shapewhen production is offline. This is a union position ideal forsomeone who is self-directed, safety-minded, and thrives in acollaborative environment without direct supervision on weekends.
What You’ll Do:
Perform preventive maintenance and project-basedmechanical repairs during weekend downtime. Rebuild and upgradeequipment such as gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic presses,furnaces, and extruders. Read and interpret electrical schematicsto complete tasks like wiring motors and diagnosing issues with amultimeter. Collaborate with a small, close-knit weekend crew towork through equipment issues—communication and teamwork are key.
Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a strong safetyculture.
