• Food Production Facility We are afast-paced, high-performing food manufacturing company seeking askilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support the ongoingfunctionality and reliability of our equipment and systems.

As a MaintenanceMechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smoothoperation of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems acrossour facility. You will work in a refrigerated, industrialenvironment and collaborate with cross-functional teams todiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily inspections of equipment forsigns of wear, malfunction, or damage Troubleshoot mechanical andelectrical failures in production and packaging machinery Repair orreplace defective components using tools such as welders, torches,and diagnostic instruments Interpret blueprints, electricalschematics, and technical manuals to identify repair proceduresPerform preventative maintenance on a variety of systems, includingpneumatic, hydraulic, and ammonia-based refrigeration Install andrepair electrical components, including switches, breakers, wiring,and control systems Maintain accurate maintenance records andensure compliance with safety and operational standards Collaboratewith engineering staff and other technicians to improve systemperformance and reduce downtime Lubricate and clean machinecomponents including gears, bearings, and shafts to ensurecontinuous operation Assist with facility infrastructuremaintenance as needed Support operations by maintaining forkliftsand other material handling equipment Monitor equipment sounds andperformance to identify issues before failure Ensure all work isperformed in accordance with OSHA and company safety regulations

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience inindustrial maintenance, preferably in a food production orrefrigerated environment Strong mechanical and electricaltroubleshooting skills Working knowledge of automated processingequipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physicallydemanding tasks such as bending, twisting, and squatting Must becomfortable working in cold storage areas (32°F or lower) forextended periods Available to work overtime, weekends, and respondto off-hour emergencies as needed Self-motivated, independent, anddetail-oriented Ability to read and understand technical diagrams,manuals, and blueprints
