Job Summary:
- The Maintenance Technicians are responsible for facilitating efficient manufacturing operations across the organization, including both mills, office, and company grounds.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.1. Performs preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on plant equipment to minimize facility down time.2. Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.3. Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.4. Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.5. Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.6. Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.7. Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.8. Prepares reports documenting work performed.9. Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.10. Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.11. Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines.12. Collaborates with Director of Production or Maintenance Manager regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required. 13. Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required. 14. Performs other related duties as assigned.
