Building Cleaner Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home Washington, PA 15301 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks in residential and commercial properties, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained. Execute custodial duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Conduct floor care activities including buffing and polishing surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Carry out industrial cleaning tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols and procedures. Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs observed during cleaning duties. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored properly and replenished as needed. Provide porter services by moving furniture or equipment as necessary during cleaning operations. Skills Experience in residential painting is a plus but not mandatory. Strong custodial skills with an understanding of various cleaning techniques and products. Proficiency in floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance of different flooring types. Familiarity with industrial cleaning standards and practices. Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned areas. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning practices are followed.
