Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment and machinery. You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment through both preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, contributing to the continuous improvement of our production processes. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery. Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on plant equipment according to established PM programs. Troubleshoot equipment problems, identify root causes, and make necessary repairs on production equipment. Support production by ensuring safe and proper operation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment. Generate, complete, and close work orders using a computerized maintenance management system. Assist with established preventive maintenance activities and identify opportunities for improvement. Program Variable Frequency Drives or Servo motor drives. Troubleshoot PLC programs and robotics equipment. Accurately use, read, and understand precision instruments such as meters, meggers, and oscilloscopes. Read and understand Maintenance Work Orders. Mentor and train existing and new maintenance employees. Follow all safety rules and regulations, including LOTO, and wear all required PPE. Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures. Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual. Report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel. 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance Experience Mechanical and Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair skills Ability to troubleshoot and repair automated equipment and PLCs Experience in Building and Grounds Maintenance Welding and Fabrication skills Basic mechanic set hand tools up to 1″ Work Environment These roles are based at our main plant, an older but well-maintained facility equipped with robotic welding machines, heavy stamping presses, conveyor systems, and other manual and automated machinery. Expect a dynamic environment where machinery can be loud and occasionally greasy or dirty during maintenance tasks. Openings are available on each shift: 1st Shift (M-F 6am-2:30pm), 2nd Shift (M-F 2pm to 10:20pm), and 3rd Shift (Sun-Th 10pm-6:20am). Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Red Lion, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $59862.00
