This part-time position supports the ongoing operations and safety of residential treatment programs and child care centers. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in maintenance, demonstrate an enhanced awareness of child safety and security, and present a professional and clean appearance at all times. Duties Perform day-to-day preventive maintenance and general repairs across multiple sites. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve maintenance needs. Complete minor carpentry, painting, drywall, and flooring repairs. Maintain accurate logs of maintenance work, supplies, and inventory. Address and resolve work orders, safety issues, and facility-related concerns efficiently. Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding materials, tools, and job status. Maintain a clean and safe environment in all facilities with minimal disruption to operations. Follow safety procedures and protocols consistent with child and youth settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of general maintenance experience (residential, or facility-based settings preferred) Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems Familiarity with safety codes and preventative maintenance schedules Ability to maintain confidential information and demonstrate good judgment around youth

Requirements:

Must pass both state and national background checks Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation Ability to travel locally between program locations High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (e.g., climbing ladders, standing for long periods) Must demonstrate strong communication, reliability, and professionalism

Travel Requirements:

This position requires regular travel between multiple program locations. A company vehicle is provided in accordance with company policy.

Tools & Equipment:

Must be comfortable using power tools, ladders, and basic diagnostic equipment.

Emergency Response:

Although this is a part-time position, occasional emergency response (after-hours or weekend facility issues) may be requested with appropriate notice and additional compensation.
