Facility Maintenance & Cleaning Staff Temple Emanu-El – 4.1 Providence, RI Job Details Part-time | Full-time $18 – $22 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Construction painting English Electrical experience Plumbing Mechanical knowledge Facilities maintenance Entry level Full Job Description Year round, PT or FT, weekend availability preferred: Temple Emanu-El, a busy synagogue in Providence, RI, is seeking to hire PT or FT flexible employees to join our existing team of maintenance and cleaning staff. Begining as part-time +/- 20 hour per week. There may be the possibility of FT, dependent on the applicants availability and skillset.

Required Job Specific Functions:

(include, but are not limited to) light lunch and meal preparation, service and cleanup, room set-up of chairs, tables, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, washing, polishing, buffing and dusting of floors, carpet & upholstery, walls, windows, and doors; trash and recycling removal; cleaning & replenishing restrooms; stairwells, offices and other areas as required. Possible seasonal exterior work including snow & weed removal, light landscaping.

Additional Skillset:

(not required but useful) the ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing, painting & general repairs. Knowledge of audio/visual & livestream set-up.

Job Specific Physical Demands:

(include, but are not limited to) s tanding, walking, lifting, bending, repetitive movements, inside and outside work environment.

Job Types:

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

4 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
