Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and systems. This role works closely with the Engineering team to ensure equipment operates efficiently and reliably in a manufacturing or processing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Comply with all company and OSHA safety regulations and procedures. Collaborate with Engineering to install, test, and release new equipment. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and control systems. Utilize CMMS to document maintenance activities and track equipment performance. Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems and industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet). Diagnose and resolve issues related to AC drives, motors, encoders, and resolvers. Calibrate flow, level, pressure, and temperature instrumentation and control loops. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, manuals, and machine diagnostics. Conduct inspections of equipment to identify wear, damage, or potential failure points. Use hoists, lifts, welding equipment, grinders, and hand/power tools to perform repairs. Support the operation and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Assist with the rebuild and overhaul of equipment as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred. 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or processing environment. Strong knowledge of PLCs, drives, and industrial automation systems. Familiarity with DCS architecture and control systems. Proficient with reading and understanding schematics and technical documentation. Ability to safely use a variety of tools and equipment. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment:
This position involves physical activity, including climbing, lifting, kneeling, and working in industrial environments. PPE may be required. Our client has new state of the art equipment with a family environment. Must be willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts. Relocation is possible for the right candidate
