HTI is seeking Maintenance Technicians for a drywall finishing manufacturing company in Anderson, SC. This will be a new second location for the company, that is driven by an unwavering commitment to quality, reliability, and exceptional service. Pay range is $30 – $40 / hour, depending on experience.
Requirements:
Must have 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
Must have high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical engineering or a related field is a plus.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
What Your Role Will Look Like:
Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems, malfunctions, disassemble, repair, and assemble multiple function electrical/electronic control units on all types of industrial machinery and equipment.
Tear down, overhaul, repair, replace, reassemble, and test electrical + mechanical equipment and controls.
Work in the department as a team member to achieve production, quality, cycle time and cost standards. Assist in achieving individual department team goals.
Receive work instructions, oral and /or written instructions, drawings, outline sketches, etc. from Management.
Keep up to date on new technology and developments.
Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace devices and systems.
Make preventive maintenance checks and inspection as scheduled. Effectively communicate results. Recommend or initiate corrective actions as required.
Advise operators about potential electrical problems when operating equipment or machinery. Coordinate related work of other operators assigned to the project.
Fabricate parts when they are not available using machine and hand tools common to the trade.
Follow all Lock Out / Tag Out Procedures. Start up and shut down equipment/machines in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
Examine finished work compared to blueprints, diagrams, written instructions, etc. for correctness. Complete any necessary production reports and report any operation problems.
Ability to use computers to complete maintenance work orders, research information needed to repair equipment, and order parts as needed is preferred.
