Maintenance Technician ARETE Dogwood Apartments Beaufort, SC 29904 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment, ensuring safety standards, and providing excellent customer service while working in a collaborative environment. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or modifications. Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential maintenance needs. Execute welding tasks as required for repairs or fabrication projects. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed work orders and inventory management. Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally. Lead small projects or initiatives related to facility improvements when necessary. Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance. Proficient in electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics. Experience with welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior staff. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to safety protocols. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
