Trade school Manufacturing Senior level Associate’s degree Hydraulics Robotics Mechanical knowledge FDA regulations Full Job Description We’re seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced medical device manufacturing environment. This role is critical to keeping high-spec equipment running smoothly while ensuring safety, compliance, and production uptime across the facility. Ideal candidates will bring deep technical skills, a solutions-first mindset, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and maintain facility systems including AHUs, chillers, boilers, heat exchangers, compressed air systems, emergency generators, and more. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical equipment up to 480V. Support the buildout and commissioning of new manufacturing spaces. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all facility infrastructure. Utilize BMS/EMS systems for environmental and operational monitoring. Collaborate with engineering, production, QA/QC, and regulatory compliance teams to ensure operational readiness and safety. Manage vendor activities and oversee third-party contractors during repair or installation work. Maintain SOPs, safety protocols (LOTO, confined space, etc.), and equipment documentation through SAP or similar CMMS. Investigate root causes of facility issues and contribute to CAPAs and change controls. Respond to facility alarms, conduct JSAs, and lead or support after-hours and holiday maintenance tasks.

Preferred Experience:

5-10+ years in a similar maintenance role within regulated environments like medical device, biotech, or pharma manufacturing—or equivalent military/industrial experience. Hands-on experience with HVAC, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, and automated systems is a plus. Knowledge of

FDA, ISO

standards, and general EHS protocols. Strong familiarity with facility utilities and the ability to execute repairs independently or as part of a team. Comfortable with physical demands including lifting, climbing stairs/ladders, and working at heights when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required.

Preferred:

Associate degree, technical/trade school certification, or military equivalent. Demonstrated history of equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and maintaining safety/compliance standards. Nice to

Experience with fully automated production equipment or robotics. Prior work in a cleanroom or cGMP manufacturing facility. Familiarity with SAP or CMMS systems for tracking work orders and parts inventory.
