This newly-created role performs routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations across a range of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment. They also diagnose issues, identify problem areas, and make necessary repairs, often working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance:
Perform preventative maintenance tasks like inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and filter changes.
Repairs:
Diagnose and repair building systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.
Installations:
Install new equipment and systems, following blueprints and specifications.
Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve issues, utilizing knowledge of building systems and equipment.
Documentation:
Record work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and building occupants.
Safety:
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Inventory Management:
Maintain inventory of parts and supplies. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to troubleshooting and repairing faulty plumbing fixtures, Replacing light fixtures and electrical outlets, Maintaining HVAC systems and equipment, performing routine maintenance on mechanical equipment, and Installing new plumbing or electrical systems.

Technical Skills:
A working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
