Pool Warranty & Repair Technician Position Summary:
The Pool Warranty & Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing and resolving warranty-related issues and performing repairs on pool equipment and systems. This role ensures that all warranty claims are handled efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. The technician will troubleshoot pool automation, plumbing, filtration, and structural concerns to uphold the company’s commitment to reliability and customer satisfaction. About the

Objectives:
Diagnose and resolve warranty-related service calls, ensuring timely and professional repairs. Repair and replace pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and plumbing. Document and track all warranty claims, repairs, and resolutions to maintain accurate records. Work closely with manufacturers to process warranty claims and order necessary replacement parts. Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to prevent recurring issues. Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating repair procedures and timelines. Collaborate with the service and construction teams to address warranty concerns and improve installation practices. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all repair activities.
Competencies:
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for pool equipment and systems. In-depth knowledge of pool automation, hydraulics, plumbing, and electrical components. Ability to interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and manufacturer guidelines. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong customer service and communication abilities to explain technical issues clearly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred certifications:
CPO (Certified Pool Operator), NPC Training, Orenda Training, Manufacturer-Specific Certifications.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of three years of experience in pool service, repairs, or equipment troubleshooting. Experience with diagnosing and processing manufacturer warranty claims preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on repair tasks. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Visual and auditory ability to assess equipment performance and complete documentation. Commitment to
