Cane Branch Road, Walterboro, SC 29488 As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure all aspects of the hotel’s engineering are kept to the very best standards and in line with all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures. You will keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork. From simple repairs to forward thinking for the next day. The right candidate must be able to retain information, work independently, and trustworthy. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for extended periods and kneel/reach. Must be able to frequently walk and climb/descend stairs. On occasion is required climb up and down ladders. Must have general dexterity for firm and simple grasping of objects. Some tasks, such as the use of small repair tools, may also require fine dexterity skills. Caulking is required. Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 65 pounds without assistance General Requirements Must have basic working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, cleaning of pool, and/or other general repair skills. Must display very good organization and time management skills. Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and work with little or no supervision. Must be able to consistently work under pressure and simultaneously prioritize multiple projects. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Obtain any locally required certifications. Inspects all operating systems and components of the hotel to ensure they are operating properly, efficiently and safely. Promptly responds to front desk reports of guest problems or concerns. Performs preventative maintenance, repairs, or makes recommendations for repairs, as assigned: all mechanical/electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems, all building components and furniture, fixtures and equipment. Maintains the grounds daily, including landscaping and parking areas in a clean, neat, safe and attractive manner. Performs the “PM” schedule on a timely basis, ensuring that all elements of the guest room meet the standards of the brand. Performs painting, carpentry, plumbing, emergency carpet cleaning and other jobs as necessary. Maintains storage areas, shops and mechanical areas in a clean, safe and secure manner.

• Driver’s License/transportation (Required)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• CPO License (Preferred)
