SITE MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – INJECTION Position Available In Greenville, South Carolina

Job Description:

MISSION:

Ensures that all injection means (IMM and auxiliaries)are kept in a functional and safe condition by dealing withpredictive, preventive and curative maintenance. Works in 3 shiftsor on WE shift. On-call duty MTTB (Mean time to Breakdown) MTBR(Mean time between repair) OEE Molding Right first time, InjectionScrap, Tool Changeover Time and Cycle Time Reduction Molding Scrap

ACTIVITIES

: Works according to HSE requirements. Plans and carriesout preventive maintenance of machinery, systems and utilityservices. Repairs efficiently IMM and auxiliaries during downtime.

Supervises external companies providing contract maintenance andrepair. Seeks constant reduction of unscheduled machinery andequipment downtime. Focuses on OEE Improvement. Participates incontinuous improvement processes and activities. Retains and Updatemaintenance documentation available and updated. Retains andMaintain document stocks of necessary spare parts for injectionmoulds. Supports level 1 and Level 2 maintenance training. Isresponsible for tidiness of his/her work area (5 S). During the

Greenfield:

Actively participates in all the training (in-house,provided by equipment supplier).

During theOPTIPRO/OPTIMAP/transfer projects:

Implements all procedures inline with POMS and best practice. Actively participates in all thetraining (in-house, provided by equipment supplier). Participatesin fine tuning and final setting of the equipment. Participates ininjection maintenance area set up and follow up installation ofsmall CAPEX related to this area.

COMPETENCES

: Techniciancertification with a speciality in several of the following fields(mechanical, electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics). Robotics andapplication processes. Spoken and written English ability would behelpful, not essential. Proven experience (5 years) in maintenanceof big production equipment. Computer skills. Provenproblem-solving skills.
