Position Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic II (MMII) will perform minor repairs and maintenance and assist craftsmen in the repair and maintenance of Conway Medical Center’s (CMC) plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration facilities and equipment.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Qualified in One of Three ways required:
High School graduate and seven (7) years specific maintenance experience or;
Trade or Technical School Certificate and four (4) years specific maintenance experience or;
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in technical field and four (4) years’ experience.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Valid Driver’s License in good standing required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct scheduled inspections of designated buildings and equipment.
Check and repair minor equipment malfunctions to include noisy bearings, broken belts, leaking faucets and pipes and blown fuses.
Make minor adjustments in equipment and temperature settings.
Clean or change filters, oil, or grease motors.
Perform minor repairs and corrections to plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration facilities and equipment as required.
Notify appropriate engineer, supervisor, or foreman if immediate action is required.
Complete other duties as assigned. Display core customer service skills in all interactions.
Effectively utilize stronganizational skills.
Consistently display effective verbalmunication skills. Regularly exercise independent judgement.
Physicalpetency to handle no-stop physical work activity in various climates.
