, South Carolina Hiring for Chemical Maintenance Technician in Fort Mill, SC Pay up to $40/hr. Pay | $20-40/hr. Shift Day and Night Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain chemical processing equipment and machinery, including pumps, reactors, mixers, and other related equipment. Monitor and control production processes to ensure efficient and safe operations, troubleshooting any issues that arise. Conduct regular quality control checks on raw materials, intermediates, and final products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment. Collect and analyze samples during production for testing and analysis purposes. Document and record production data, including batch records, operating parameters, and test results. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, chemists, and maintenance technicians, to troubleshoot equipment issues and optimize production processes. Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Strong knowledge of chemical processing principles, equipment, and procedures. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and protocols. Proficient in analyzing and interpreting data, including conducting basic statistical analysis. Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate production issues and updates. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet production targets and deadlines. Good understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to chemical processing. Familiarity with computerized systems and software used in process monitoring and data recording. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00
