Loom Maintenance Technician – 1st shift 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Leesville, SC Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment. Start-up looms after warp out on fixer sections assigned Repairs looms as weaver or inspector flags them Performs maintenance on looms assigned to their shift for upkeep Complete repair work on mechanical or quality for fixer section Performs work necessary to maintain maximum production and quality ribbon on looms Draw-In ends after repairing looms-such as broke heddles Repair oil leaks as necessary Ensure quality Report to supervisor continued loom problem Maintain housekeeping All other duties as assigned Required Experience High School Diploma or GE Must be to read and write Must have communication skills, basic math and analytical skills Attention to details, and ability to diagnose and repair high speed equipment Must be able to lift up to 30 pound overhead Must be able to stand majority of shift Must be able to prioritize and analyze mechanical problems to reduce downtime of looms Understand and follow written verbal instructions Works in climate controlled area
