Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency andpliance with safety standards. This role reports directly to the Maintenance Team Leader and plays a critical part in the day-to-day success of the manufacturing operation.

Essential Functions:

Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to minimize downtime and support production goals.
Coordinate with supervisors and managers on equipment breakdowns and necessary upgrades.
Prioritize and schedule repairs for specific equipment.
Implement and manage the preventive maintenance program.
Support the installation, relocation, or modification of equipment as needed.
Troubleshoot electrical systems including 24VDC controls and 480VAC 3-phase industrial power.
Address safety issues, replace burned-out lights, and conduct routine checks on emergency lighting.
Participate in safety programs such as LockoutTagout and confined space entry.
Perform facility maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
Maintain the building’s exterior and grounds.
Keep inventory of repair parts and shop supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skilled trades training or coursework preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Proficiency in using mechanical tools, electrical testing equipment, and measuring instruments.
Ability to read and interpret blues.
Must supply own mechanical tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs as required.

Work Environment:

Normal factory noise levels.
Well-lit workspaces.

Additional Responsibilities:

Follow allpany policies and safety protocols.
Maintain a clean andanized work area.
Ad to all quality procedures and documentation requirements.

Compensation:

The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00 – $19.00. Actualpensation may vary based on relevant skills, experience, education, market conditions, and work location. This pay range is subject to review and adjustment in the future.
