Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for hourly production team member positions in our Columbia, South Carolina manufacturing facility. As an hourly production team member, you will need to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. What You Will Do Follow effective preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment liability. Learn a basic understanding of the batch, melting, sizing, busing and fiber forming/fabrication areas and the equipment in the maintenance areas including compressed air, natural gas, process water and fire systems. Work in a team environment embedded in lean manufacturing methodology. Drive plant performance through Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics. What You Need to Succeed Must be 18 years of age and have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1-Year of Manufacturing Setting Experience Ability to work any shift Flexibility to work overtime as scheduled, including weekends and holidays Individuals with a criminal record are encouraged to apply!

Compensation:

Starting pay is $19.50 then $20.00 after the first 90 days.

Probationary Period:

Please note that all new hires are subject to a Probation Period for the first 90-days of employment. Working conditions Must be able to lift 50+ Pounds consistently for 12-Hours. Must be able to work around extreme heat safely . Must be able to work in a wet environment safely . Must be able to stand for long periods of time . Must be able to work around and operate machinery safely.
