Mechanical Maintenance/Welder Job Purpose:
Effectively perform maintenance and services; conduct equipmenttroubleshooting to ensure smooth production; participate inequipment installations. Performs skilled welding in the repair,modification and fabrication of equipment and facilities; completesminor repairs on process equipment and related tasks asrequired.
Requirements:
Maintenance Job Duties Participating in equipment installation and commissioning withinstruction from engineers. Effectively performing equipment maintenance and services perestablished procedures, ensuring smooth production. Participating in troubleshooting of emergencies, being able tosolve simple malfunctions independently. Performing simple fabrications with proper tools. Preparing reports and analysis per established policies,keeping accurate jobs and maintenance records, providing effectiveand appropriate recommendation and conclusions. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related tasks assupervisor instructed, and any other duties as assigned.
MaintenanceWelder Job Duties:
Repairs, modifies, designs or fabricates a variety of metalwork Cuts, fits and welds various metals using gas and electricwelding equipment Performs skilled brazing and soldering Capable of using a variety of power tools including, but notlimited to; grinders, drills and various cutting tools Highly proficient with metal fabrication tools such as pressbrake, lathe and sheet metal Perform minor machine maintenance and/or repairs asrequired Maintain OSHA compliance at all timesEducation /
Training:
3 – 5 years of proven experience in industrial fabricationrequired and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in theseareas. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required Completion of OSHA Trainings Highly PreferredSkills /
