Oversee day to day operations for Emory Valley Center transportation and vehicles. Assist all program areas routing vehicles. Ensure all minor repairs and preventive maintenance to properties and vehicles are completed and arrange for major repairs. Keep maintenance records on all properties and vehicles as required. Complete monthly query’s for Quality Assurance Director. Respond to vehicle emergencies such as breakdowns, vehicles out of service, etc. Files all related documents. Perform maintenance and repair of all Emory Valley Center buildings and grounds as applicable. Ensure acceptable appearance of buildings and grounds. Identify and schedule needed work in accordance with budget guidelines and overall priority. Be responsive to request for maintenance, as well as deficiencies noted in Emory Valley Center facilities checklist and in reports of funding agencies. Assist with oversight and ensure the quality of all contracted maintenance. Report major needs to the Facilities Director. Assist with management of all maintenance and repairs to Emory Valley Center equipment, divisions and locations. Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies either manually or by use of hand trucks Set up, arrange, and remove equipment, tables, and chairs to prepare facilities for events. Ensure all maintenance related documentation and paperwork occurs as required by Emory Valley Center and funding sources. Take maintenance and vehicle concerns and report to Facilities Director. Ensures confidentiality regarding sensitive material including applicant’s, employees, and individual’s right to privacy and protected health information, following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Utilize PHS and other software/systems as required for Company operations. Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Director and President.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Ability to work independently. Ability to work safely with hands. Basic understanding of intellectual and developmental disabilities and the ability to work with people in their homes. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Basic computer skills including Word and Excel. Basic understanding of repair and construction practices and associated tools and equipment as well as basic vehicle repair knowledge.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities. Occasional overtime or alternative schedule required throughout the year. Some local travel required by automobile with employee subjected to changing weather conditions. May be exposed to various medical conditions, communicable diseases, and pest and rodent infestations. Alternate on call. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old. A minimum of two years of directly related hands-on maintenance experience required.
