Utility Position:
$16.54 / Hour Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Zero Fees – you’ll never be charged for any screening service Fast Start Date Weekly Pay Insurance Options On-Call and After-Hours Assignments as Required Job Duties for Maintenance Technician |
Utility Position:
Performs manual and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation of streets, utilities, buildings, grounds, and facilities to support department operations in all weather and environmental conditions Assists with installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of water and wastewater systems including mains, valves, hydrants, pump systems, and sewer lines, and collects water samples for testing Conducts general road and grounds maintenance including asphalt and concrete repairs, traffic flagging, mowing, vegetation control, sign repair, debris removal, and storm sewer upkeep such as ditching and culvert repairs Clears trees and limbs from roadways and right-of-ways, assists with snow removal, and maintains equipment in clean, operable condition Responds to on-call and after-hours assignments as required Follow all policies and safety procedures in place Completes any other related tasks as needed Qualifications and Desired Skills for Maintenance Technician |
Utility Position:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to obtain valid Tennessee CDL with “N” endorsement within six months of hire Ability to prioritize and manage high-volume work while adapting to changing priorities Knowledge of City policies, procedures, and practices preferred Strong teamwork and effective working relationships Professional demeanor and responsible control in public interactions Accountability for quality, timeliness, and completion of assigned tasks under supervision Flexibility to work required hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and during emergencies Ability to perform mathematical calculations necessary for position Ability to stand for duration of shift Ability to lift up to 100 lbs on occasion Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach If you have the experience and skills we’re looking for, apply to Luttrell Staffing today!
