The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and be capable of performing various maintenance and repair tasks. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and functional. The Handy Man will work independently and as part of a team to address repair needs promptly and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment. Conduct routine inspections to identify issues that require attention. Utilize tools and equipment effectively to complete tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management. Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and materials used. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards at all times. Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects as needed. Experience Proven experience in maintenance or maintenance person services is preferred. Familiarity with the use of an Ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management. A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
