Apartment Maintenance Express Employment Professionals Henderson, TN 38340 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to perform various maintenance tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and operational. Duties Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, utilizing tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, ensuring all equipment operates smoothly. Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Collaborate with team members to address customer service issues related to facility operations. Work with logic controllers to ensure proper functioning of automated systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks effectively. Qualifications Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance. Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Previous experience in customer service is a plus, demonstrating the ability to interact positively with clients and staff. Experience with CMMS software is preferred for tracking maintenance tasks and schedules. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
