GENERAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Dream Nashville Nashville, TN 37219 Summary The Engineer is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard. Maintain the building exterior Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors windows and counters. Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis All other tasks and duties as assigned Qualifications At least one year of experience Hotel experience preferred
