Field Operations Reports to : Field Supervisor Employment status : Part-time to Full-time (25-40 hours/week) FLSA status : Non-exempt Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED required Position Summary We are looking for a reliable/dependable Field Technician who is a team-player, has a competitive edge, strives for excellence and is eager and willing to learn and grow with our small, family-owned company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in home improvement, repairs, and maintenance tasks. This role requires a professional who can work independently, troubleshoot issues, and provide excellent customer service while completing various repair and installation projects . Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Perform a variety of handyman services, including and not limited to carpentry, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical work, and painting. Conduct troubleshooting and repairs for residential and commercial properties. Install and maintain home fixtures, appliances, and hardware. Perform minor remodeling tasks such as flooring installation, cabinet repairs, and tile work. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations. Provide accurate estimates and recommendations to customers regarding repairs and upgrades. Maintain accurate records of completed jobs, materials used, and time spent on tasks. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding project progress and needs. Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Proven experience as a handyman, field technician, or in a similar role. Strong , electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Must possess a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to various job sites as required. Ability to lift 80+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in home remodeling or residential/commercial maintenance. Certification in relevant trades (preferred but not required). Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations. Customer Service and sales experience a plus.
